Russian Soviet poet. The father of the poet and public figure N. N. Brown. He was a teacher, born in the village of Parakhin Belevsky district of Tula province (now Arsenyevsky district of Tula region). He went to the middle of Russia, and went to school in Orel. In 1929 he graduated from the literary department of the Pedagogical Institute in Leningrad, where in 1926 they released their first collection of his poems. He worked as a teacher and worked in Leningrad various magazines. During the war, he served in the Navy and was later appointed as a war correspondent in the besieged Leningrad. His early poems were written under the influence of Boris Pasternak, O. Mandelstam and N. Tikhonov.
