Wayne Whaley of Tolar, 87, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, in Tolar.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial: Nancy Smith Cemetery in Somervell County. Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Whaley was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Red River County, Texas to John William Whaley and Bertha Freeman Whaley. He married Lillian Daniel, Oct. 31, 1974, in Durant, Okla. Wayne was retired from LTV. He enjoyed gardening and watching ballgames on TV. He was a member of Elm Grove Assembly of God in Tolar.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Willie Whaley, Glen Whaley, sister, Letha Brown.
