Mrs. John Hildreth
A twilight graveside service for Mrs. John Hildreth of Oklahoma City, whose death occurred Wednesday morning, was held at Greenwood cemetery Thursday evening with Rev. Earl Minturn of St. Mathews Episcopal church conducting the commitment service and pronouncing the benediction.
Duff and Son had charge of the burial service which followed the funeral service which had been held earlier in the day at Oklahoma City. Old time friends of Mr. and Mrs. Hildreth acted as casket bearers.
Mrs. Hildreth came to Newton as a little girl with her parents Prof. and Mrs. J. R. Campbell, and two sisters, May and Juanita, and received her education in the Newton schools, later attending college to prepare for teaching which was the profession of her parents.
