Loyd was born & died in District 7 of Warren County, TN; that being the area of Irving College & Northcutts Cove. Although his headstone is engraved with his date of death as Dec 5, 1938, his death certificate documents that he died on Dec 5, 1937, at his home at Rt 2, District 7 of Warren County. He died of pneumonia cause by influenza. Dr. Cantrell signed the d.c.. No document has yet been located showing a middle name of "May".
