Obituary
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for Lillian Trosclair, age 85, the former Lillian Angelle, who passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Magnolia Estates in Lafayette.
Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro. The Rev. Tom Voorhies, pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul in Scott, will officiate at the services.

Musical selections will be provided by Valerie Andrus. The songs will be Here I Am Lord, The Lords Prayer and Battle Hymn of the Republic.

Mrs. Trosclair was a native of Carencro and a resident of Lafayette having been a former resident of Cankton. She retired in 1988 as the former owner and operator of J & L Feed Store in Scott. She was a former member and parishioner of St. John Berchman Church in Cankton and a former member of St. John Berchman Rosary Group.

Survivors include her husband, Jean "Johnny" Trosclair, Jr., one son, Kenneth Trosclair and his wife, Debbie, of Florida; three daughters, Christine Heim and her husband, Robert, of LaGrange, KY, Suzanne Broussard and her husband, Kenneth, of Scott and Catherine Tate and her husband, Louis, of Panama City, FL; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one sister, Molly Domingue and her husband, Fred, of Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Moise Angelle, Sr. and the former Elevige Hollier both natives of Cecilia; three brothers, Moise Angelle, Jr., Antoine Angelle and Rodney Angelle; and two sisters, Lou Stemmans and Lucille Villard.

Pallbearers will be Derek Allan Trosclair, Jason Michael Heim, Justin Mitchell Heim, Adam Christopher Broussard, Blaine Michael Serio and Kain Russo.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue,Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
