Juel L. Denson
Juel Lee Denson, 59, of 115 Washburn St., died Tuesday in Wesson Memorial Hospital. Born in Americus, Ga., July 21, 1909, he had lived here 20 years. He was an employee of Chapman Division of Crane Co. He attended Holy Trinity Church of God and Christ. he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys (Preston) Denson; four sons, Calvin, Juel, Jr., John and Ernest of this city; nine daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bess, Mrs. Mary Robinson, Mrs. Elvira Shepard, Mrs. Gladys Kilpatrick, the Misses Emma,Tommie, MaryHelen, Luvonne and Lucy Denson, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hosted and Mrs. Katie Tavares of this city; and a brother, Thomas Denson Jr. of this city. The funeral will be held in Holy Trinity Church of God and Christ Friday at 1 P.M. with the Rev. John P. Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
