Charlotte Roberta Strother, 77, of Old Chapel died Wednesday in Rose Hill Nursing Home, Berryville. Mrs. Strother was born Sept. 1,
1907, in Clarke County, the daughter of Peach Hough and Betty Tomblin Washington.
She was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. She was married to Ammie Carter Strother.
Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Lois Kirby of Chestertown, Md.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, with the Rev. Daniel L. 4 Garrett officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Enders Funeral Home, Berryville.
