Brian Lee Barker

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and wonderful friend left us too early to be in a better place. He passed away Sunday, October 17, 2004 of heart failure.

Brian Lee Barker was born January 3, 1963 in Ogden, a son of Leonard William Barker and Juanita Scott Barker.

He graduated from Ogden High School in 1981. He was an eagle scout and had worked in the automobile business. Brian was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hike, His favorite hike was Malan’s Peak. Brian had traveled the world extensively.

He was a member of the L.D.S. church and served a mission in Littlerock, Arkansas.
Brian lived life with a Christ-like attitude. He was charitable, kind, non-judgmental and accepted and cared for all people. Brian has been his mother’s right arm since his father passed away in 2002. He had a special way of caring for his younger siblings and their families.

Brian is survived by his mother and his brothers and sisters, Stephen Barker, Scott (Marilyn) Barker, Evan (Renn) Barker, Dan (Farzaneh) Barker, Lane (Nancy) Barker, John (Debbie) Barker, Rebecca (John) Lee, Margie (Rick) Nelson, Carol (Mike) Medina, and Diane (Kevin) Hamilton, all of the Ogden area. He was preceded in death by his father.

Brian will be greatly missed by all of us.
