The headstone for this memorial shows the name: James B. Adams of Company E, 30th Georgia Infantry. NAME ON HEADSTONE IS INCORRECT. There is a James B. Adams of Company B, 30th Georgia Infantry but he was sent to Camp Douglas near Chicago, Illinois where he died on 24 November 1864. Not sure how he came to be recorded as buried at Camp Chase.
