Florence Jeannetta (Sutton) Weaver
Florence Jeannetta (Sutton) Weaver, 87, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, at Vencor Indianapolis South in Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born July 20, 1912, in White River Township. Her parents were Isaac Henry and Eva Elizabeth (Beck) Sutton. She married Robert A. Weaver on March 28, 1934, in Franklin. He preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1994. Survivors include two daughters, Lois Ann Tharp of Smith Valley and Joyce Purkhiser of Kender. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Sutton and Ralph E. Sutton.
She was a 1932 graduate of Center Grove High School.
She was a homemaker, and she worked at Farm Bureau Insurance in Indianapolis as a file clerk for 10 years, retiring in 1966.
She was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church, where she was a member of the Friends of Loyalty Sunday school class.
Stan Icenogle and Albert Lorber will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Friday at Vandivier-Tudor Bargersville Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in White River Township.
