Mrs. Bintzler Funeral services were held on Wed 12 Feb at the Cedarburg United Community Methodist Church for Mrs. Thelma Bintzler, 61, nee Pattison, who died 9 Feb at the hospital in Madison, Wis after a short illness. Rev. Paul Smith officiated at the services with interment at Fayette on Thurs 13 Feb.
Mrs. Bintzler was born on 8 June 1907 in Iowa and moved to Grafton, Wis in the late 1940's. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Wilmer (Letha) Shecher, Grafton, Wis; Mrs. James (Rita) Hamilton, Woodbridge, VA; Mrs. Donald (Frances) Zautche (Zautcke), Cedarburg; and Mrs. Merlin (Effie) Plier, Port Washington, Wis; and four sons: Gilbert, Lomira, Wis; Nicholas, Grafton, Wis; Donald, Jacksonville, FL; and Ronald, Grafton, Wis. She is also survived by five brothers: Raymond Pattison, Oelwein, Herbert, Knoxville, George, Dale and Harley Pattison, Arlington; three sisters, Mrs. Bert Necker, Oelwein; Mrs. Neva Hetzel, Grafton, Wis; and Helen Baker, California; also her mother, Mrs. Effie Pattison, Oelwein with whom she made her home the last several years.
Thelma was divorced from Nicholas Bintzler.
Nick was listed as being buried in Memorial Cemetery in Fayette, Iowa but he was actually interred in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette, Fayette Co, Iowa where Thelma was also buried. The funeral home had it incorrectly listed in his obituary.
