One hundred and three unidentified victims were interred in a common grave at Green-Wood Cemetery.

An obelisk near the main entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street marks the burial site. The fire took place on 12-5-1876.

Erected by the City of Brooklyn to the memory of those who perished in the Brooklyn Theatre fire.

The fire was discovered shortly after eleven o'clock P.M. One thousand persons were present, of whom two hundred and seventy eight were burned to death.
