Lottie was involved in 4-H from the time she was 10 years old, as a member, county leader and later as a leader of a local 4-H club. She was working with the Farm Security Administration in Crosby, North Dakota when she met John Brelsford, a native of England. They were married April 17, 1943, in Minot, ND.
She belonged to the PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and a quilting club as well as the Olympic Peninsula Home Economists. She enjoyed beach combing, sewing and collecting demi-tasse cups. The family made several trips to England to visit the country and John's family.
Lottie was predeceased by her parents, husband, three brothers, Claude, Ray and Howard Knudson, and one sister, Ruby Knudson. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Brelsford.
