John Darrell Hutson, 61, of Salem, Arkansas, was born on August 11, 1950, in Salem, Arkansas, son of Lewis Henry and Wilma Jean (Lau) Hutson. He departed this life on August 8, 2012, in Harrison, Arkansas.

Darrell worked as a heavy equipment operator for Mark Harmon Farms. He was of the Methodist faith and served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Darrell is survived by two daughters, Melissa Jones and husband James of Harrison, Arkansas, and Emily O'Brien, of St. Louis, Missouri; granddaughter, Amelia Garland of Harrison, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Sue Hutson of Salem, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Hutson.

Memorial Service was held at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas, on Friday, August 17, 2012, 1:00 PM, with Matthew Miller officiating. Interment was in the Camp Cemetery at Camp, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home.
