PERRYTON — Doris McClenny, 81, of Perryton died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Temple Cemetery in Temple, Okla. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Mrs. McClenny was born Feb. 10, 1931, in Jet, Okla., to Charles and Myrtle Myers. She married James Weldon McClenny on June 5, 1949, in Eva, Okla. He preceded her in death in 2001. She had lived in Perryton since 1956, moving from Temple.

Mrs. McClenny worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Perryton. She spent her life loving and caring for her family and friends, from her siblings as the older sister to her children and her husband and to her parents in their later years.

She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheryle Barnes and husband John of Longview, Suzy White and husband Gary of San Antonio and Donna Moore of Flower Mound; three sisters, Pat Berry of Weatherford, Helen Bates and husband Byerl of Perryton and Ruth Sipes of Elkhart, Kan.; a brother, Charley Myers of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church Youth Mission Ministry, P.O. Box 1272, Perryton, TX 79070; or Temple Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 473, Temple, OK 73568.
