MONONA - Anita E. Munson, age 87, died on Monday, November 8, 1999 at her residence. She was born on February 15, 1912, the daughter of John and Agatha (Ruedi) Adams. She married Earl N. Munson on September 28, 1940, in Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1972. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and worked as a bookkeeper for Ray-O-Vac for many years. She was also a member of TOPPS.
Survivors include, a son, Earl (Linda) Munson of Madison; three grandchildren, Heidi Munson of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Matt and Sarah Munson of Madison; and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Mary Schmitz; and by an infant son. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 1999 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1904 Winnebago Street in Madison. Reverend Kurt M. Billings will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday, November 11, 1999 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Schroeder-Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made in Anita's name to Hospice Care of Madison.
