Most people who knew Robert called him 'Buck.' He was my step-grandfather and that's what even I called him as long as I can remember. He loved the outdoors, and took me frog-gigging several times. He and I canoed down the Little Tennessee River from Chilhowee Dam to Fort Loudon just after his 70th birthday, right before Tellico Lake was impounded.--Jerry 'Toby' Morelock
