Leslie S. Zajacz (1936 - 2011)
Leslie S. Zajacz, 74, of Spotswood, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born and raised in Lestock, Saskatchewan, Canada, Leslie settled in Spotswood in 1964. He retired in 1995 from the IBEW Local 269 of Rocky Hill, where he was an electrician for many years. Les was a kind and loving father and a man who could build or repair nearly anything. He was an avid salmon fisherman on Lake Ontario. He also had a very sharp sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Annette (Kornacki) Zajacz; his son Michael Zajacz, Sr. of Spotswood; his daughter Tara Graham of Richmond, VA; his sisters, Mary Gurica, Veronica Zajacz and Ann Jennings, all of Canada, and Elizabeth Tashman of Arizona; his brothers George, Steve and Joseph Zajacz, also all of Canada, and his grandchildren, Michael Zajacz, Jr., Zakkary, Braeden, Jericho and Vincent Graham.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday from Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy. Interment will then follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
