Mrs. Claus Thiel, 69, died Monday evening at the home at Brillion, following a several months’ illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Luecker funeral home at Brillion and at two o’clock from the Emmanuel Evangelical church, the Rev. H. T. Bandt officiating. Burial will be in the Brillion Community cemetery.

Mrs. Thiel, nee Lydia Bringmann, was born in Rantoul, Calumet County, in 1873 and was married to Mr. Thiel in 1894. They lived on a farm in Morrison, Brown County and moved to Brillion in 1924.

Survivors are the widower, son, Elmer, of Greenleaf; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Wolf and Clara, of Brillion; three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Reiss and Mrs. Ella Crawford of Chilton, Mrs. Ida Pingal of Madison; and a grandchild, Janice Wolf.
