Mrs. Rosie A Applegate Conlee, 86, RR2, died suddenly at 7 a.m. Sunday in her home. Born Oct. 1, 1867 in Jefferson Township, she was lifelong resident. She was married on March 4, 1885, in her home to Lewis Conlee who died Oct. 17, 1921. She belonged to the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one son, Charles, local; three daughters, Mrs. Julia Kudebeh, local, Mrs. Ruth Lachman, Donnellson, Mrs. Esther Richmond, local; two brothers, H.V. Applegate, Kahoka, Mo., and A.J. Applegate, Old Monroe, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Two sons and a sister are dead.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. in Clements Chapel with the Rev. Walter L Turhey officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. The body will lie in state at Clements until time for the service.
