Frank Oliver Castle, 76, died Wednesday (May 15, 2002) at his residence in St. Paul.
Mr. Castle was born in Kingsport, was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conley A. and Emma Mae Dinsmore Castle; a sister, Stella Hooper; and an infant brother.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Thelma B. Castle; four daughters, Carol Castle, Katherine Castle, both of Kingsport, Debbie Felker, Coeburn, Va., and Mrs. Gary (Diane) Jacobs, Castlewood, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Kim Castle Jr., and Gary and Lisa Castle, all of Montgomery, Ill.; son, Lonzie Castle, St. Paul, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Wanda Castle, Kingsport; three sisters, Mrs. Stuart (Juanita) Vaughn and Margaret Williams, both of Kingsport and Dorothy Stanley, Alabama; 10 grandchildren, Timothy Felker, Jennifer Felker, Junior Felker, Gary Jacobs Jr., Andrew Jacobs, Tiffany Castle, Brian Castle, Michael Castle, Gary Castle Jr. and Brittany Castle; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are after 6 p.m. today and anytime Saturday at Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, Va.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Crawford officiating.
Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn, Va.
