He was a man of capicity and energy, as appears from the property that he acquired, and the position he held in society.
Removed to Woburn in 1695, purchasing considerable property in "current silver money"; properties, on the "kings's highway leading to Reading" and on both sides of the Mystic River, including a "Mansion-House, a barn, gardens, woodlands with "a Right of Pines", orchards and one eighth of a saw mill.
