Ressie Lawler Services Set -- Boone Native Was Lifelong Resident
Mrs. Ressie Opal Lawler a native of Boone county died in Jamestown nursing home at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Ms. Lawler had been in failing health for the past year. She was the daughter of Bannie and Dora Canada Davis of Boone County and lived forty years in Jamestown community.
On January 21, 1913 she was married to Arthur Lawler at Lebanon. Surviving besides the husband is one son Merrill T. Lawler and a granddaughter Kay Lawler both of Speedway.
She was a member of the North Christian church at Advance and Jamestown Legion Auxiliary No. 393.
Services will be held at the Walker Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. with burial in the I00F cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
