After James passed away in July of 1891, she married the widower John Randolph Clark in Catahoula Parish March 7, 1895. They were the parents of Joseph Leon, Myrtle M.(wife of G.P. Price, 2-7-1900 - 6-2-1995), John Wesley and Gladys Victoria. She also became the Stepmother of Archie Dalbert and Mary Lou (children of Mary Elizabeth Doughty Clark).
According to an Alexandria Town Talk article which appeard in the July 23, 1966 issue, Mary states her father was wounded at the battle of Vicksburg. After her mother died in 1874, she and her father floated down the river from Rayville in a small boat looking to find a new home. there was a log jam in the river at Jonesville, so they decided to stop for a few days. They ended up settling in the area. Her hobbies included canning, making quilts, working in the yard and garden and watching TV.

Mrs. Mary Clark
JONESVILLE (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Clark, 102, of Jonesville, who died Saturday in Concordia General Hospital after a short illness, were at 10 a.m. today.
The Revs. J.O. McNair and Hardy Bingham officiated in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home and interment was in Ferriday Mausoleum.
A native of Rayville, Mrs. Clark is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Price of Jonesville, Mrs. Gladys Gibson of Hammond and Mrs. Mary Floyd of Jena, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Lamar Gibson, Dr. W.M. Floyd, Ray Floyd, James Breithaupt, Reece Breithaupt and Kelly Breithaupt served as pallbearers.
