ALBIA - Elaine M. Eakins Anderson, 73, of Albia, died March 26, 2005, at Monroe County Hospital, Albia.
She was born May 30, 1931, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Roland A. and Mary Warrens Henze. She married Orlo E. Anderson June 29,1984, in Albia.
She was a 1948 graduate of Marshalltown High School. She owned Elaine's Lounge in Blakesburg and retired in 1998. The town of Blakesburg became her family.
She is survived by four stepsons, Terry, Timothy, Donald of Albia and James of Rhodes, Iowa; two stepdaughters, Tina Frier of Peoria, Ill., and Evelyn Rock of Jesup, Iowa, and a special daughter, Wilma Talbert; 13 stepgrandchildren; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Robert D. Lovig.
Funeral serviceS will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Knedler Funeral Home, Blakesburg, the Rev. Wayne Parker officiating. Burial will be Eddyville Cemetery.
Visitation began noon Monday at Knedler Funeral Home, Blakesburg, with family present from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday.
