Funeral services for Mrs. Jewel Ashworth, former Hammon resident and western Oklahoma school tacher(sic) who died Saturday evening in the family home in La Crosse, Wis., have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hammon Assembly of God Church.

Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon.

Mrs. Ashworth was born July 5, 1911, and was 62 years old. She taught school in western Oklahoma for several years. She was married to Dr. William P. Ashworth in the home of her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry Spillman, Hammon. Mrs. Ashworth was a long-time member of the Assembly of God church and was active in church work, and assisted her husband in his office.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. William P. Ashworth, of the home; twin daughters, Mrs. Linda Hendrickson, Rapids, Wis., and Mrs. Leta Anderson, Des Moines, Iowa; 2 sons, James Ashworth, Santa Ana, Calif., and Donald Ashworth Justice, Ill.; 1 sister, Mrs. Leroy (Ruby) Orgain, Redmond, Ore.; 1 brother, Glen Spillman, Prineville, Ore.; and 2 grandchildren.

The family will be in Martin Funeral Home from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday to visit with friends.
