Betsy was a black Labrador. We got her as a puppy. We never took her for a walk, she walked us. She was very strong pulling on her leash. When we were little we would sit at the top of the steps to watch tv when we were sopposed to be in bed. Mom said Betsy would wag her tail and look at mom. Mom said are those kids out of bed? Then she waged her tail faster. Mom said go put them to bed. Betsy ran up the stairs after us while we laughed and screamed and jumped back in bed. Then she would go back down with mom and dad. Mom told her good dog. She was very protective of us. We lived behind a elementry school and one day my brother was playing in the schoolyard. Some kids were picking on him and Betsy heard them. She ran through the gate and over the hill and chased the kids doing the teaseing up the monkey bars til we came to get her. She would'nt have hurt them. She was a good dog. When we moved we had to give her to someone who owned a farm. She got pregnant and had 12 puppies. We saw her and the puppies visted them. I dont know what happened to her after that.
