Tyree Crawford Harris Jr., age 44, of 311 West 7th Street, Fulton, Missouri died at 2:10am on June 4, 1958 at Callaway Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient four days.
Dr. Henry Durst prononced death caused by Trauma from an Automobile Accident: Pulmonary Embolism, Fracture of 6-7-8-9 Ribs with Partial Alectosis of Hemothorax, Fracture of Left Tibia, Multiple Abrasions and Contusions. He had driven the automobile off of a cliff into a ditch and a ravine. The accident occured near Westminster College. The informant was John and Overton Harris of Fulton.
Mr. Harris was born October 21, 1913, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Tyree Crawford and Mary (Cannon) Harris Sr. He was married to Rayma Parsons. Tyree was the Assistant to the President of Westminster College.
Mr. Harris served in World War 11 in the Maritime Service.
Arrangements were under the care of Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetary.
