Graveside services for Thomas N. Rupe, 91, and Delores C. Rupe, 96, will be held Oct. 14, 2008 at Douglas Park Cemetery. Delores passed away March 3, 2008 and Tom on Oct. 1, 2008; both at Douglas Care Center. Delores was the daughter of Pearl and Francis (Bulger) Holbrook. She graduated from Nebraska City High School in Nebraska City, Neb. in 1929. She married Thomas N. Rupe in Modesta, Calif. in 1953. She and Tom moved to Douglas in 1964, where Tom had been raised. She is survived by her husband, Tom, of 55 years, of Douglas; sister Jamie Walker of California; step-sons Thomas "Larry" Rupe of Denver and Jack Rupe of Douglas; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.
