3 Killed, 2 Injured in Dugger Crash
Freight Train Hits Auto On Isolated Track
Charles Reynolds, Julia Reynolds, Richard Johns Die of Injuries Received In Crash At Noon Today
An auto-train collison on the "Old Twin Switch" about two miles east of Dugger today shortly before noon resulted in the death of three persons and serious injuries for two others.

Richard Johns, 58, of Dugger.
Bob McCullough, 38 of Dugger, sufered lacerations about the face, concussion and compound neck fracture.
Isaac House, 65, of Dugger, suffered a fracture of both legs, probable skull fracture and lacerations about the face.
Taken To Linton Hospital.
All were taken to the Freeman-Greene County Hospital in Linton, where Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds were pronouced dead upon arrival. Johns died a half hour later.
House's condition was regarded as critical at the Greene County Hospital at noon today while McCullough was believed to be less seriously hurt.
The accident occurred at the Monon crossing, more commonly known as the "Old Twin Switch," east of Dugger, as the Reynolds and their companions were returning to Dugger from Linton. The train involved was a coal train operating on the little used track.
State Police Officer Joe Feeney of Linton investigated the accident and Greene County Deputy Coroner Dr. Sam Rotman of Jasonville returned a verdict of accidental death.
