Overcome by the heat on Tuesday, while working on the Thompson farm, near Quarry, Herman Fischer, 59, died on Wednesday. He was single. The remains were brought to the E.J. Simon parlors at Reedsville, and later were removed to the home of Mrs. Gust Seehawer, Collins, a sister of the deceased.
Burial will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and at two o'clock from the Rockwood Evangelical church. Mr. Fischer was 59 years of age.
His was the third death from the heat in Manitowoc county the past week.
