John Wesley Hagan Jr.
April 5, 1927 ~ November 30, 1978
John Wesley Hagan Jr., 51, of 111 Bowman Avenue died today at Candler general Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Egypt, Ga., having lived in Chatham County most of his life, and was a member of The Garden City primitive Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American legion. He was a veteran of the Army, having served during the Korean conflict, and was formerly employed with the Union camp Corporation.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Louella Price Hagan of Garden City; a sister misses Hazel Hagan of Columbus Ohio; a brother, Adolphus Hagan of Savannah and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Garden City Primitive Baptist Church, with burial in forest lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
