Birth: Oct. 26, 1756
Spotsylvania County
Virginia, USA
Death: Jan. 12, 1836
Kenton County
Kentucky, USA

Daughter of Edmund Waller (1718-1771) and Mary Pendleton Waller (1720-1808) who were married 18 Oct 1740 in King William County, Virginia.

Her paternal grandfather, John Waller was born 23 Feb 1673. He emigrated from Buckinghamshire, England to King & Queen County, Virginia arriving before May 1696 for it was then that he bought 1,039 acres of land in Pamunkey Neck from Elias Downes. In 1701, this became King William County. John Waller married Dorothy King and built his home, Enfield, upon this land. He died in Spotylvania County, in September 1754.

Interestingly, Dorothy Jemima's brother, William Edmund Waller, married Mildred Smith who was the daughter of Stephen Smith & Phoebe Hawkins. The second wife of Stephen Smith was Blessing Stephens, the mother of Benjamin Stephens (Dorothy Jemima's husband). So, William Edmund Stephens married the step sister of Benjamin Stephens.

In addition to the children who are linked here, she had:

RICHARD STEPHENS who d. 1842 in Cleburne County, Alabama
WALLER STEPHENS who d. ABT 1806
