Born July 27, 1926, in Frostburg, he was a son of the late Ogilvie and Blanche (Green) Halsey. He was al-so preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Halsey and Edward Halsey.
He was a retired insurance salesman.
Surviving are his wife, Susan R.A. (Nealey) Halsey; two daughters, Terry Butz, Madison, Wis., and Robin Main, Stoughton, Wis.; five sons, Craig Halsey, Madison, Beau Halsey, Port Ritchie, Fla., Terrence Halsey, Albany, N.Y., Kenneth L. Halsey, Port Ritchie, and Marcus Halsey, Madison; one sister, Sylvia Halsey, Goldsboro; two brothers, John Halsey, McHenry, and Roger Halsey, Palatka; nine grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.
Private interment was in the Thayerville Cemetery.
The Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, was in charge of arrangements.
