Mrs. Delia M. Lang of Robeson Extension, Williamsburg,
died Sunday, November 10, 1963, at 8:45 p.m.
She was born at Gannister on May 16, 1880, a daughter of
John B. and Rachel (Yingling)Briney. She was married to Oscar H. Lang on August 4, 1899, at Clappertown. He preceded
her in death. .
Surviving are these children:
Mrs. Ethel A. Hamer of Juniata,
Carl J. Lang of Williamsburg, Robert L. Lang of Williamsburg,at whose home she died, and Mrs. Norma D. Shatzer of Williamsburg. There are ten grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters and one
brother: Mrs. Gertrude Gunnett of Newry, Mrs. Edith Huber of Altoona, Mrs, Grace Hoover of Altoona, Mrs. Emma Reffner of Royer and William Briney of Martinsburg.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Williamsburg.
She served as a teacher in the beginners department for many years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Friedline funeral home at Williamsburg.
The Rev. John S. Manrodt will officiate, interment will be made in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Williamsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m.
