Dalton K. Alexander , 80, of Patoka, died on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at his daughter's home in Patoka.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at House of Hope Apolstolic Church in Patoka. Burial will be in Pratt Cemetery, with the Rev. Darren Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the church. Day Funeral Home in Patoka was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Pratt Cemetery or House of Hope Apolstolic Church. Mr. Alexander was born on Sept. 5, 1931, in Fayette County, the son of Gladys Alexander . He married Charlotte Alexander on Oct. 30, 1954, in Hernando, Miss.; she died on May 26, 2012.

He is survived by a son, Robert "Dizz" Alexander and his wife Sharon of Salem; and daughter, Cheryl and her husband Mike Casper of Patoka.
