NOAH PLANK, CUTLER RESIDENT, SUCCUMBS
Noah W. Plank, 79, life-long resident of Carroll County, died Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.C. Corbitt in Winter Haven, Polk County, Florida for several months.
He was born near Bringhurst, Indiana in 1882 and was married to Miss Alice Hostler, who died several years ago. He was for several years the manager of the Cutler Elevator. He was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church and for many years engaged in business in Cutler and Bringhurst.
Surviving besides Mrs. Corbitt are three other daughters: Mrs. Synthia Cunningham of Cutler; Mrs. Faye Pitzer of Delphi; and Mrs. Vera Crivett of Rushville; and three sons, Ray of Cutler; Ira of Crawfordsville and Jim of Tampa, Florida.
The body was brought to Cutler on Tuesday morning. Funeral services in carge of the Reverend Ward McCabe were held from the Cutler Presbyterian Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Ball Hill Cemetery.
