She was a member of Abingdon Episcopal Church, Ordinary, and a former member of the York River Circle of the Kings Daughters as well as the Abingdon Womans' Club.
Mrs. Hogg was preceded in death by her husband, Francis C. Hogg, her son, Carl F. Schlifer, and sister, Elsie Boyd.
Her survivors include daughter-in-law, Alice Virginia Schlifer; one sister, Eloise Fary; three brothers, Welford R. Wilson, Earl E. Wilson and W. Edwin Wilson; stepgrandson, Warner Rhodes; and three stepgreat-grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher and Benjamin.
Graveside services, conducted by the Rev. Josephine A. Taylor, will be held 11 a.m. today in Abingdon Episcopal Church Cemetery.
