MRS. MARY E. CASNER
Wife of John W. Casner, died at her home at Duncansville, R. D., last evening at 7:15 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments. She was the daughter of Adam and Sarah (Gunnett) Rhodes and was born at Allegheny Furnace on Jan. 7, 1866. She was united in marriage with Mr. Casner in Altoona on Sept. 14,1905, the ceremony being performed by Rev. J. K. Lloyd.
Surviving are the husband and one daughter, Mrs. Grace Filler of Detroit, Mich.; one son, John Calvin Casner of Lackawanna, N. Y.; one brother, Calvin Rhodes of Clappertown, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Rhodes of Royer, and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Casner was educated in the schools at Royer and was a member of the Royer Methodist Church.
CASNER – Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Casner will be conducted at the home at Duncansville, R.D. Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock in charge of Rev. G. B. Harman of the Duncansville Lutheran Church. Interment in the Royer Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home any time after 5 o'clock this evening.
