She taught at Anthoston and Schilo schools, worked at The Gleaner from 1944-48, worked 12 years at Helfrich's China & Gift Shop and retired in 1973 from Alles Bros.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are two nieces, Mary Lou Unghtum and Theresa Grimwood, both of Evansville.
Her husband, William, died in 1987.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
