Chauncey T. Lippencott, 612 Howard street, Brownsville, died Thursday afternoon, January 21, 1965 at 4:10 o'clock in the Brownsville General Hospital.

He was born February 23, 1894, in Waynesburg, the son of the late Irwin and Sadie Zook Lippencott.

Mr. Lippencott was a retired railroad engineer for Monongahela Railroad. He retired in February of 1964 after 45 years of service.

He was a member of the South Brownsville Methodist Church, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers, 650.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alta Mae Barricklow, Bladensburg, Md., and Mrs. Marietta White, Speers Hill, Pa.; three sons, Chauncey H., Willis D., and Alvin E. Lippencott, all of Brownsville; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edna Nichols, Waynesburg; and one brother, Ewing Lippencott, Clarksville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Alice Franks, Dec., 1963.
