ROBERT TAYLOR MAYO WAS THE SON OF TONY AND ELIZA JONES MAYO.
HE MARRIED ALICE MOORE 2 FEB 1908 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE.
CHURCH HILL (Spl.) – Robert P. Mayo, 70, of Church Hill, Route 2, died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at his home after a lingering illness.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Mayo; one daughter, Mrs. Julia Phillips, Church Hill; one brother, C. R. Mayo, Bristol, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Fred Mauk, Surgoinsville, Tenn.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be hold at 2 p.m. Monday at the McPheeters Bend Baptist Church, with the Rev. Herman Christian and the Rev. Lee James officiating. Burial was to follow in the church cemetery.
Wilson Funeral Home was to be in charge of the services.
