Lee Berger, well known local young man, passed away peacefully at his home, 2203 Lindell avenue, at 9:30 a. m. today, January 21, at the age of 27 years, 5 months and 16 days after a lingering illness of several months. He was the oldest child and only son of a family of five children of John Berger, deceased, and Ruth Berger Hoef.

April 22, 1930, he was married to Miss Carrie Crisenberry.

The young man was well known with a wide circle of friends and was of a cheerful, energetic disposition. He had been employed by the Home Appliance Store and later with the Chapman-Rollo Furniture store until his health failed.

He is survived by the wife; mother; two sisters; a niece; grandparents, grandfather, and step-father.

His father and two sisters preceded him in death.
