She served in Bihar district where she met Rev. Fred Maxon Perrill, born 3 Dec 1882 in Mentor, Kansas, the son of George Winston and Louisa Todd Perrill. They married in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India on May 4, 1911. The couple had one son.
She continued in mission teaching until Fred Perrill died on 12 July 1948 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Mary shortly returned to California. Their son became a physican/ surgeon and went back to India as a missionary.
Mary was cremated and her ashes divided, part buried with her family in Kankakee and part returned to India and buried at the grave of her husband in Barielly, India.
