Floyd Byrum, 74, 245 Hoyt Ave., died Sunday morning at Morgan-Nichols Nursing Home, 727 Wheeling Ave., following a short illness.
A resident of Muncie for 35 years, he was a native of Millersburg. Mr. Byrum was a member of the Quincy Masonic Lodge at Elwood. He was a veteran of World War I and had been an employe of Ball Brothers Co. prior to retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Cleo Imogene; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Armstrong, Muncie, and Mrs. Eileen Cameron, Cambridge, Ohio; five grandchildren and a great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Roxy Haugh, Muncie.
Services will be at 2 p.m. with Maj. Truman Robinson of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Members of Muncie Lodge No. 433, F&AM, will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Monday.
