Mavin Juanita Kite Rodgers, 95, of Harrisonburg, formally of Shenandoah, passed away at Avante Nursing home on Sunday August 8, 2012.
She was born April 8, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Kite and Selena Lenora McDonald Kite. She was lifelong member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, and worked as a hairdresser for 56 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Glenwood Paul Rodgers, four sisters and a brother.
Mavin is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Coverstone Cemetery in Shenandoah, with Rev. Mark Brill officiating.
