A. A. "Alex" Eraybar, 78, of Bristol, Indiana died at 7:30 P.M. Monday October 10, 2011 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 9, 1933 in Istanbul, Turkey to Suat A. and Nezahat (Alev) Eraybar. He married Ruth H. Horton who survives. Also surviving are two daughters Laura (Reza) Ghassemi of Sparks, Maryland, Leyla Scott of Denver, Colorado; one son Ali (Becky) Eraybar of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren; one sister Tuncay (Verle) Lanier of Potomac, Maryland. A graduate of the University of Toledo, Mr. Eraybar was a mechanical engineer for Standard Products until his retirement in 2000. Mr. Eraybar was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Elkhart where he served as a trustee, member of Robinson Locke Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite of Toledo, Ohio, Society of Plastic Engineers and Elkhart Kiwanis Club. Alex enjoyed boating, was a private pilot and loved writing editorials to the newspaper. Memorial services will be held in Elkhart at a later date.

Private graveside services will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Silver Spring, Maryland.
