Also known as Eliza Lambert Lloyd. She was the only daughter of Stacy Barcroft Lloyd Jr. and his first wife, the former Rachel "Bunny" Lambert (later Mellon); a stepdaughter of American banker and art collector Paul Mellon; and a great-granddaughter of Jordan Wheat Lambert, co-inventor of Listerine mouthwash. She married Henry "Derry" Dermot Posenby, Viscount Moore (later the 12th Earl of Drogheda), on 15 May 1968 and divorced in 1972. Caroline Kennedy was a flower girl at the couple's wedding, and John F. Kennedy, Jr. was a page. Viscount and Viscountess Moore had no children, and she did not remarry.
In May 2000, Eliza was hit by a truck while crossing a Manhattan street and suffered a severe brain injury. She became quadriplegic and unable to speak. She spent the remaining eight years of her life under round-the-clock care at Oak Spring Farms, her mother's home in Upperville, Virginia.
