Bret Parr Hunter, 53, of American Fork, Utah passed away Friday, August 10, 2012.

Bret was born in American Fork, Utah on October 29, 1958 to Max Henry and Florence Sarah Parr [Hunter].

Bret is survived by his wife Cynthia Sorensen Hunter and Bret was the love of her life, his 4 loving children Courtney (Kevin) Moore, Tyson Hunter, Megan Hunter Perkins, and Morgan Hunter; 2 stepchildren Hunter and Kayden, and 5 grandchildren Kade, Koby, Kaleb, Chaely, and Cierra. Siblings Ross (Peggy) Hunter, Linda Hunter, Lee (Pat) Wilkerson, Tom (Suzy) Hunter, Maxine (Jimmy) Hiatt, and countless other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Max Henry and Florence Sarah Parr and sister in law Julie Shepherd Hunter.

Bret was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a Spanish speaking mission in the Puerto Rico/Dominican Republic Mission. He has had many callings and most recently served in the Scouting Program.

Bret loved his Harley, golfing, sports, gardening, the outdoors and being active. He loved coaching and did it for many years. Most importantly he loved his dog Jasper and spending every free minute in each other's company.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2:00pm at the American Fork 25th Ward Chapel located at 455 E 300 N. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary located at 49 E. 100 N. in American Fork and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in American Fork, Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all the outpouring of support.
