He married Nellie Grace McKee in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho on 26 Aug 1902. They resided in the Clark (southeast of Rigby) until 1940 when they moved to Rigby, Jefferson, Idaho.
He died 25 Jun 1953 at a rest home in Clark, Jefferson, Idaho and is buried in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery, Ririe, Jefferson, Idaho.
He is the father of one daughter: Minnie Heyrend Stewart.
